Ciao Trailblazers,
There seems to be a global appreciation that you the GenZ are out to bring positive change where you are in the world. Did you hear about how the Cockroach protesters got the governament to listen to their concerns.
Here our own Taya wrote an blog post about her time with us. She joined us just befoee the war with Ukraine started. Here is more -
In April 2022, a 16-year-old from Ukraine applied to volunteer with BizGees via a platform called We Make Change. She listed her skills as business development, community management, marketing, and videography. Two weeks later, the war started. What followed — across four years, four countries, and one remarkable journey — is the story of what genuine, sustained support for a young displaced person actually looks like. In her own words and ours.

What Comes After the Guns Fall Silent? Link here. Here Laurie Lane Zucker discussed how traditional security, focused solely on deterring threats, is reactive and ineffective. True security, he argues, is built during the "morning after" conflict. You can find more details about his approach in his new book - The Impact Entrepreneur Breakthrough. Link here.
Build the Crowd Before You Need The Money? Link here. Here Devin Thorpe CEO of Superpower for Good is the leading authority on crowd funding, impact investing and social good. He highlights the need to build your crowd before you need to ask for funding. Have a read and let’s see what you make of it.
