Ciao Trailblazers,
What happens when the conflict ends? What happens when the revolutions are over? How do people cope with rebuilding their lives? How do people cope with rebuiding their communties? This has been the core of what we focus here. It has been the bases of our work with GenZ. We took the approach to co create news with GenZ to inspire you and their generation to get invloved in shaping the news. GenZ inspired news with us focuses on the human needs of these communties. Now we have also progressed to adding the economic aspects to the mix as well - we collaboarte with Impact Entrepreneur Magazine for this.
Here is a good example -
How the 2003 Border Reopening is Changing the Face of Cypriot Identity? Link here.
Business Across the Green Line. What Cyprus’s bicommunal enterprises reveal about trust, trade, and divided economies? Link here.
Both these articles were researched and authored by Ariel. The first one was for us with a focus on the human needs of the communites rebuilding themselves. The second, focuses on the economic side of rebuilding after the conflict is over and published by Impact Entrepreneurship Magazine.
We co create with GenZ becuase we feel you understand the world we live as much as the rest of us. You have your own generational perspective which is entering the mainstream as you enter the mainstream of society and the economy. Your perspective to us matters. It is fresh and has meaning to your own peer groups as well. More importantly, it ensures you are engaged in issues impacting communties recovering from conflict. You understand their actual needs. You understand how long it can take for a community rebuilf itself once the conflict is over. You understand the underlying issues these communites have and how similar they are to your won daily struggles.
